I have been a single parent for as long as I can remember. It is really starting to set in... I have a WHOLE young man. My son is currently 17 years old and he is entering into his senior year. With his senior year comes a lot of stuff. College applications, college visits, football camps, etc. I was busy at first, but I feel like I am about to be busy, busy.
We went on his first unofficial college visit last weekend and I had a moment. I found myself in the bathroom crying. I cannot believe I raised a WHOLE son... Like I really did that. I am looking forward to this year, but I am nervous as well. It is almost time for me to release my baby into this cold, cold world.
Let me know what some of you have done to prepare and get through your child's senior year of high school.
